Whispp: convert whispering into normal speech during video calling

user on video call with phone

Severe stuttering can have a major impact on people's lives. However, it has been shown that people who stutter hardly do so when they whisper. The Leiden startup Whispp is developing AI speech technology that makes it possible for people who stutter heavily to speak in a fluent, relaxed way on calls and video calls. Whispp converts whispered speech into your own normal speaking voice without any lag or delay. Whispp can also be used by people with speech and language disorders who can articulate themselves more clearly when they whisper.
