Completing construction and infrastructure projects without damage claims: that is Quattro Expertise's vision. Handling a damage claim costs an average of 2,500 euros. That can be done differently, Quattro Expertise believes.

Since 2006, Quattro Expertise has been committed to damage-free construction: building without damage claims from the environment. To make this possible, they work with a customised iOS application that allows them to make architectural recordings of buildings in the surrounding area. Thanks to the report generated from this preliminary survey, all parties involved can make a fair comparison between the starting situation and any damage that may have occurred.

In 2021, Quattro Expertise came knocking on our door asking if we could improve and rebuild their (outdated) iOS application. During our refinement block, we first estimated the opportunities, the work required and, of course, the costs. This way, we and Quattro Expertise knew exactly where we stood and what they could expect after their investment.

Fast and efficient

The biggest gain in redeveloping the app is in the speed at which information is exchanged with the server. Whereas previously a manual synchronisation with the server had to take place twice a day, now everything is sent to the server automatically and directly. This executive communication with the back-end allows users to work more efficiently and perform recordings faster. Quattro Expertise now has a third-generation recording app that incorporates the entire process to go through a building recording super fast and easily.

The whole process of a building survey is now done through the app. And that is exactly what we wanted. The process with Innovattic was very easy and smooth. We have come further with the app than I first expected. Innovattic has a very simple, direct way of working. People don't hide behind agreed processes, but rather use them to keep things easy and clear.

Advice and testing

We developed the third generation of the recording app together with Quattro Expertise and the staff who perform structural recording. Throughout the development process, we tested the app with end users to make sure everything was optimised for their working methods. In this way, we added all kinds of different ‘quality of life improvements’ that greatly improved the complete experience for users. This ultimately ensured a high affinity for the app among end users, which of course makes their daily work a bit easier and more fun!
