NPO Zappelin app
Children learn through play with their Zappelin friends
Zappelin is part of NPO, the Dutch Public Broadcasting. We normally expect our public organisations to fully embrace interactive media: however, there was still no NPO app for children. It was time for that to change!
Learning and entertaining
We developed an interactive app in collaboration with NPO Zappelin. This is an app full of fun content that lets children from two to six years old learn through play with their favorite Zappelin friends. They can watch movies, play with Ollie, create beautiful drawings and sing along with Fenna. This way children are entertained and learning at the same time.
A great collaboration
We had already developed several apps for NPO in the past and we’d enjoyed all our previous collaborations, hence why they also asked us to develop the NPO Zappelin app. We mainly carried out a lot of technical work on this project, as NPO already had a very clear idea of what they wanted. The app, for example, also contains a lot of content from other parties, like Buurman and Buurman. NPO indicated how and what exactly they wanted, and we carried out the technical part; so, a very streamlined process!
